What Are You Learning? – Day 8

Click here to begin at Day 1.

“Did you learn them teachers anything today?”

It is an awkward question, but I hope you learned something.

What Are You Learning?

DAY 8

Maybe it was to listen. Is God trying to speak to you about something?

Maybe it was to laugh. Is there something you need to just laugh off and turn it over to the Lord?

Maybe it was to lean. Is there something that we need to lean into the Lord and trust Him about tonight?

Maybe it was to love. Is there someone that we need to swallow our pride and love them?

Maybe it was to let go. Is there someone that needs forgiveness that you can give? Is there something you need to let go of and let the Lord handle the situation?

Maybe it was to linger. Is there something the Lord has been dealing with you and he’s asking you to just wait and linger with Him?

What are you learning to prepare you for what you need to do? We don’t learn things just to put them aside and never use them. We learn things to help us fulfill a purpose.

Let what you have learned in this study prepare you to bring forth fruit so we can be used for His glory.

DAY 8 SCRIPTURES

35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
-- Matthew 9:35-38 (KJV)
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
-- Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV)
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
-- Acts 2:37-39 (KJV)
